What compels a man to pack up his things during the toughest time in world history and move to Nashville to pursue his dreams? How does he use his life experiences growing up in the Church, singing worship music, and through a tragic loss to create powerful music? JB Somers is a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN. While originally from Alabama, JB took a risk and relocated from his second home of Destin, FL during the COVID-19 pandemic to pursue his passion of songwriting. When not in the studio, you can catch JB at live concerts, connecting with friends, at the gym and exploring new places to eat around Nashville. This episode, Will You Be There For Me is a question for family, friends, loved ones, and God. Honestly, it is a question we all ask ourselves. JB asked in the lyrics to a song he wrote in 2019. He has also written a song called Different People that is destined to be a hit. You will hear bits and pieces of it coming out of each commercial break, and then at the end JB will sing it for us all. The sound quality of this interview leaves a lot to be desired because the host is in a technology transition, but JB's story, his passion, and his music take center stage on this episode. ENJO!
