Imagine going online to discover someone has edited a picture of you from when you were 16 to look like you were posing topless. Imagine then that they made a fake Facebook account using that picture, pretending to be you, adding all of your friends and family. Imagine then that the police tell you: there's nothing they can do to help. Andrea doesn't have to imagine, because this is what happened to her. This month she joins Poppy and shares her story of online cyber bullying. One-in-five children and young people reported that they had been cyber-bullied, according to a recent survey of 5,000 children and young people carried out across 11 countries, including the UK. Young women, those 18-24, experience certain severe types of harassment at disproportionately high levels: 26% of young women in one study had been stalked online, and 25% were the target of online sexual harassment.
