Six months ago two women in Melbourne Australia led an eye-catching protest outside a lingerie shop. Donning black pleather, chunky belts, feathers, red lipstick and war paint, and with the international press watching, they burned a bra on a stick whilst a crowd of people with catchy signs cheered them on. Not YOUR Honey had arrived. The two women leading the protest were Tori Bellentina and Channelle Rogers. This month AudioRoar meets Chanelle to find out what lead up to this moment outside the lingerie store. She explains why she decided to take on her former employer- luxury brand Honey Birdette- and what their petition and hashtag (#NotYourHoney) was all about. We talk workers rights, appropriated feminism and capitalism. Campaign: https://www.megaphone.org.au/petitions/honey-birdette-workers-need-safe-workplaces Music :http://www.bensound.com/
