‘In The Bookshop’ is a podcast about books, recorded in an actual bookshop - George Street Community Bookshop - in Glossop, Derbyshire, UK. We invite guests in to the bookshop with their favourite books to talk about them. In this episode, our guest is singer-songwriter Matt Hill, also known as Quiet Loner. He picks out and discusses five of his favourite books with host and bookshop manager, Steve Roberts. We also hear excerpts of Matt’s songs which have been directly inspired by some of theses books. About the bookshop Based in George Street, Glossop, we are an independent, second-hand bookshop, owned and run by the community, showcasing a huge range of genre fiction, collectibles, local interest books and children’s literature.
