Her short stories, essays, and reviews have appeared in Elle, Vogue, Esquire, Outside, The New York Times, Salon, Slate, and other magazines. She's a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and Oregon Book Award, and was selected for the Amtrak residency.
