There are hundreds of examples of athletes whose careers were cut short either by injury, drugs or death. Inspired by a book on Joe Namath, Pat, Ron and Matt get into guys from the NFL, MLB and NHL whose careers were cut short. Players who are discussed are Joe Namath, Thurman Munson, Bobby Orr and much more. We could have gotten into more and will at a later time as we only just scratched the surface of athletes whose careers were cut way too short and discuss what could have been had these guys careers not been mired in turmoil.
