Education

Crystal Austin has a PhD in Microbiology. When she heard about medical writing from a coworker in her lab, at first she thought it was too good to be true that you could do something working from home with a science degree. Then, during a post-doc she discovered she enjoyed grant writing. Although she is finishing up her current post-doc, Crystal is also doing subcontracting work for Nascent and other clients and plans to go full time as a medical writer in the future.
