3D Printing combined with prosthetic and orthotic digital design? My next guest on 'The Bow Knows Who is Changing The World' Podcast is Joe Fairley. Joe is an ABC Certified Prosthetist & Board Eligible Orthotist, who has experience as a P&O technician before pursuing his Master’s in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University (NUPOC). His BS in Physics and MS in Exercise and Sport Science equally compliment his clinical experience. Joe has been innovating digital workflows within the P&O field for over six years. This includes working knowledge of several forms of additive manufacturing, CAD design, R&D, several different 3D scanners, and the beta-testing and development of two widely used modification softwares. He holds a patent which involves the additive manufacture through continuous fiber fabrication of a modular lower limb prosthesis system, he has been published in Prosthetics and Orthotics International, and has presented his research at multiple P&O conferences. Joe’s passion lies mainly in the prosthetic field, not just by innovating digital workflows, but especially in working with people who utilize running prostheses, and the pediatric amputee population. He is based in Saratoga Springs, NY, USA. The website is ascentfab.com --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chris-jones-media/message
