Just a little reminder that self-care is not selfish. Saying no and putting boundaries to focus on yourself does not make you a bad friend. How can you help others when you yourself is experiencing a burnout? I believe that you can't pour from an empty cup. The only person that is able to help you recharge, refill and rejuvenate is yourself. We constantly operate from a deficit, making it hard to stay energised and healthy. Sometimes when you forget to slow down you pay a price and usually you pay with your health. You don't need to completely change your life and all of a sudden turn to minimalism or move to the country side for slow living. However, I urge you to find little ways that you can incorporate to your current life that focuses on self-care. This year my goal is to empower myself and my community which consists of all of you - beautiful souls. Each month we will tackle a topic and hopefully, we will have a positive mindset by the end of the year. I hope that you have gained some insight from this episode.
