Life, as we experience it, isn’t random. It’s a game. And here’s the catch: we’re not just players; we signed up for this. We agreed to step into these bodies, with all the limitations and struggles, because we knew that the deeper our experience, the closer we would get to the light we all seek. That light is our true nature — pure, endless, radiant energy. But there’s a catch: we don’t just get to have it handed to us. We have to earn it.
Now, I know this might sound like a lot of philosophical fluff. But bear with me. The reason life feels hard sometimes, why we’re constantly facing challenges, is because we’re learning how to interact with the energy around us in a way that brings us closer to that light. Every challenge, every setback, is an opportunity to choose again, to let go of fear, to move through resistance, and to step into something higher.
You’ve heard of the ego, right? It’s the part of us that wants control, that wants to keep us separate, that always wants to react from a place of fear. It’s not the enemy, though. It’s a tool — a part of the game that helps us grow. But here’s the thing: when you’re aware of the ego, you don’t have to be ruled by it. It’s like any tool. You can use it or you can let it use you. The more you choose love over fear, the more you expand your ability to give, to love, to be present, to hold space — and in that space, you find light.
And here's where it gets really interesting: giving is not about overgiving, people-pleasing, or pretending to be selfless. True giving comes from a place of wholeness. You cannot give what you don’t have. So, if you’re feeling drained, or if you’re giving out of obligation, that’s not true giving. It’s a transaction. And you’re missing the point. True giving is when you’re full of your own energy — and when you give from that place, it doesn’t deplete you. It amplifies you.
Let’s talk about the vessel for a moment. The vessel is you. It’s me. It’s every human being walking this earth. We are all one, even though we look different and act different. When you interact with someone, you’re interacting with another piece of your own soul. Every judgment you cast, every act of kindness, every word of encouragement — it’s all happening within the collective energy of humanity. The more you embody love, the more the collective energy rises. And you rise with it.
Remember: this is not about bypassing the hard stuff. Life is a game, but that doesn’t mean it’s all sunshine and rainbows. It means that the struggles, the pain, the challenges, are all part of the process. They’re part of the game. And when you face them with conscious awareness, with presence, you earn the light — and that light becomes a part of who you are.
So, my invitation to you: stop trying to escape the game. Play it. Show up. Step into the fullness of your experience and know that every choice you make is a step closer to who you really are. The light is waiting, and it’s always been within you. The only thing left to do is to choose it.
