When you have training room ice baths, your coach telling you to roll out after practice, and your teammates to keep you accountable, recovery methods seem easy. But what about when your sport ends? Do you still put time towards self-care and recovery? On this episode Brooke and Don share their latest "treat yo'self" experience in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Complete with thermal pool soaks, massages, and facials! It was a lavish experience, but not every self-care treatment needs to be.Before being pampered Don and Brooke woke up early to run 13.1 miles around the National Park. In typical athlete mentality, they felt that a lavish recovery day should be earned after a grueling half-marathon.
