If there is a name in South Africa synonymous with Implant dentistry and captivating lectures it would be Howard Gluckman. I remember the first time I listened to one of his lectures. I was in awe by his confidence to share his knowledge and cases, the good and the bad with a great sense of humor. In this conversation we talk about what the future holds for the Implant Academy. Partial extraction therapy and his love of motor cycles. Through the Implant & Aesthetic Academy he has enabled us as dentists and specialists to hold our work in higher regard. His work ethic and pursuit of excellence is probably as contagious as Covid19 (too soon?) I am grateful for teachers and mentors such as Howie that never holds back and keeps on sharing his expertise. This will make us better and those who win are our patients.
