We welcome the beautiful and spunky fashionista Miss Dora Chu. Everyone needs to go and check out Dora's beautiful new website at www.doraspectacular.comDora is a powerhouse of energy and a contagious personality which has made her into the incredible interviewer that has traveled the world. She has participated numerous times in New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.Paris is her favorite with its bright and light venues and the open and kind people with so many powerhouses of the industry. She loves doing all the Dallas Shows as well. Her new show is called "Spectacular Chews" because it is a mix of food and fashion. Dora tells us about how she grew up and about her difficult childhood with a very strict Dad and a submissive Asian Mom. Dora had to learn to become her own person and at first she rebelled. She went to SMU University and that is where she came out of her cocoon and started to flourish. She found love from above from a divine source. We talk about not worrying about what others think and to get started immediately if you want to do something in life. Dora credits her team that helps her make her spectacular brand come to life. Dora is not a stranger to life's challenges, her biggest one was overcoming and healing from her father. Everyone wants to be loved and accepted by their father and sadly she didn't have that at all. She believes that a lot of that was cultural. In China you are a second rated citizen if you are a woman. That brings a lot of insecurity and feelings that you are not worthy. Through a lot of healing work she has realized that she is a fearfully and wonderfully made creation. She wants everyone to know that if every person could grasp that each of us are wonderfully made the world would be a much better place. Because when you know that you have value you would not do a lot of things that you would do if you don't. God helped Dora to make peace with her father before he passed away and she told him that she loved him. This is such a beautiful lesson of forgiveness and reconciliation. Dora believes that people show love in different ways and she is a fan of the book the 5 languages of love. She says that we tend to take things personally when we get hurt and that things are not always what they appear. Stay tuned to Part 2 next week with a continuation with this beautiful soul. https://www.instagram.com/doraspectacular/https://www.doraspectacular.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtJYt52lM4-M2wJx1tIlXtQ/videos
