Darien Gold, the producer, writer and host of “All Things Pilates," a weekly Sunday radio show on KPCA-Petaluma, brings her style and interviewing skills to the Podcast sphere. The Podcast audience can benefit from Darien’s twenty-six years of Pilates experience and Pilates lovers both locally and internationally will gain a new appreciation of the wealth of information and knowledge her guests share. Darien’s intention is to document and preserve guest interviews with those who knew or worked with Mr. Pilates as well as his pupils who went on to teach others his work. The First and Second Generation instructors dutifully teach and pass on the Pilates philosophy, tradition and principles to future generations and therefore ensuring the continuation of the Pilates method. Listeners can also enjoy hearing and learning from those in complementary health fields such as Gyrotonic, yoga, podiatry and chiropractic. Considered by most to be a global phenomenon, the Pilates method is profoundly changing both the wellness and fitness landscapes. Darien was the first Second Generation Classical Pilates instructor to present the traditional Intermediate Mat repertoire in an app, "Studio Darien Pilates." It was selected by Pilates Style Magazine in 2010 as one of the Top 10 Best DVDs of the Year. Two years later, Pilates Style Magazine selected her second app, "Studio Darien Advanced Pilates" for the same honor.
