Searching for inspiration Hot Shots hits the road. In 2015, Carol Bates started up Crawley Old Girls. COGs is now thriving and a multi award winning project encouraging ‘old girls’ to play football. Hot Shots’ CJ, Rebecca and Kate get a warm reception on a chilly night in Crawley and pick up lots of tips and inspiration from Carol and the COGs.

It’s fun, laughter & goals, but inevitably ageism and injuries all rear their heads as presenters Captain CJ, Kate & Rebecca follow the progress of their novice veteran women’s football team. FC Hot Women are a bunch of mostly menopausal women learning how to find a coach, get fit and get to an international tournament. Join them as they start from scratch, not only learning how to play the beautiful game but meeting fascinating guests with insight into various elements of the increasingly popular world of women’s recreational football.
