This week GOM kicks off its horror Octoberfest with the original 1922  silent vampire classic, Nosferatu. Penny and Darren sit down and chat about one of the first adaptations on Bram Stoker's Dracula.. Penny explains how one German filmmaker made Dracula without obtaining the rights to the book. Spoiler Alert: he just stole the story and changed the names and places of everything. The two talk about the book's xenophobia themes and how that is a scary prelude to Germany heading ipast 1922.
