After years of eating what she wanted, it was no surprise that in her mid-30s she found herself overweight and decided to adopt a low-carb lifestyle. She did lose weight, but after years of restricting her carbohydrates, chronically undereating, and being committed to exercise, she was not getting the results she wanted. As she continued this restrictive lifestyle, she remained on the struggle bus then found she was not sleeping well and wasn’t feeling right. Before the FASTer Way, Aelie thought she was eating healthy and that she just needed help with workouts. She joined in the early days of the program and was coached by FASTer Way founder, Amanda Tress. Through the program, Aelie soon learned she was a chronic under eater and discovered it was proper nutrition that her body needed. She started embracing carbs, so much so that that it “rocked her world” and now she knows the power of good food. After her starter round in May 2017, Aelie became a FASTer Way coach, and she has seen the community grow and flourish. As of the end of 2020, over 200,000 people have completed the 6-week Starter Program. Now 44 years old and in the best shape of her life, Aelie frequently shares delicious recipes and food ideas worthy enough to be in the FASTer Way meal plan! Here’s Aelie: she offers advice to those who join the starter program, how to address cravings, the importance of eating the right carbs, and how happy she is eating more food than ever.Check out these FREE resources:Introductory Guide to Intermittent FastingSugar Detox GuideCarb CyclingWhat are MACROS and Why Do We Track Them?
