“My experience with it has been so impactful in terms of focusing my efforts and my attention on the value of service, the value of doing something for other people, not just because they need it, but because that begins the cycle of being the change you want to see in the world.” -John Cerqueira   Three months after graduation, John Cerqueira moved to New York to work in the iconic Twin Towers. John lives like a normal young man- touring the town, going to work, getting injured, watching a game, and worrying about the right clothes. But after living through that nightmare on September 11, 2001, he learned that there is more to life than these. Sometimes, we get so used to our daily hustling that we forget that our life still has a purpose. Listen in as John relates the horrifying events of that day, why he chose to help even if his life is endangered, and the lessons he learned about priorities, servitude, and healing from trauma.   Connect with Ted:  Website Facebook  Twitter Instagram     LinkedIn YouTube Highlights:  02:20 The Yes Man 05:42 A Normal day on September 11th 11:05 2 Initial Reactions During an Emergency  16:19 Survivors, Stories, and the Media 21:11 The Cycle of Change 27:55 Recap
