Religion & Spirituality
One of the biggest issues or problems that missionaries face when entering a new country and trying to adjust to the new culture and the new host community is the effect of culture shock. Sometimes it can even be the cause of premature return of the missionary family. In less severe cases, it can be a defining reality in how missionaries go through early adjustment. Most of the time, there are implications for their wellbeing in their country service. In this episode, Alex Ott takes up the subject of culture shock. He looks at what it is, how it manifests itself, and how best to deal with it when in the thick of its assault.Show Notes:Passport to Mission Book
