Abel has just left the Humble Beginnings and the mood is weird. Ryn returns with information about Abel, though it is not new to the rest of his party. Before the Defenders can begin to process the previous events a lunatic cultist bursts into the inn and insinuates that the Guild is not "defending" their town at all as children have begun disappearing at night. Upon confirming the accusation, the Defenders set off to save Centrevale's children.
