On the October 23rd, 2021 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Sports Saturdays, host Angelo Di Carlo chats with South Bend natives and Notre Dame men's basketball freshmen Blake Wesley and JR Konieczny. Wesley is a South Bend Riley graduate while JR graduated from South Bend St. Joe. JR is the all-time leading scorer in St. Joseph County history while JR and Blake both were the first players in county history to ever score more than 700 points in a single season, when they both did it last year. They discuss being inspiring by Demetrius Jackson and wanting to lead Notre Dame back to the NCAA Tournament. Get conversation with the local guys!
