Since April 2011, the Bite and Booze Radio Show presented by Calandro's Supermarket has featured original, local content about the food and beverage scene of Louisiana. Jay Ducote serves as host of the show. It is produced by Charles Pierce. On the show, Jay chats with guests about culinary events and festivals, interviews local chefs, speaks with representatives from food based charities and non-profit organizations, talks about his favorite places to eat and drink around the state, discuss hot topics with brewers, distillers, and winemakers, and much more. Shows have been recorded around the state including its home base of Baton Rouge as well as around Louisiana and around the country. In November 2014 the show increased from a one hour weekly broadcast to two hours, airing from 5-7 PM on Saturdays and replaying from 7-9 PM in Sundays on Talk 107.3 FM.
